At an event marking Columbus Day, US President Donald Trump has said that diesel prices are expected to fall sharply and that the confrontation with Iran will soon come to an end.
According to Report, he said there was important news regarding diesel prices, adding that the United States had prevented Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He expressed confidence that prices would drop sharply and the confrontation would end soon, one way or another.
According to Trump, there were two ways to bring the situation to an end, although he did not elaborate on what they were.
The US president also claimed that Iran no longer had an army, navy or air force, or air defence systems.
