Charlie Kirk's death prompts White House security surge

Following the killing of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk in Utah, security barriers have been erected around the White House, and several surrounding streets have been closed.
Report informs via The Washington Post that the incident occurred on September 10. Kirk was shot in the neck while speaking in the courtyard of the University of Utah Valley campus. He later died in hospital.
Witnesses told The Washington Post that attendees' bags were not checked at the university event. Police officers and Kirk's personal security were present during the speech. Charlie Kirk was a supporter of the Republican Party and US. President Donald Trump. He frequently appeared on media platforms and conducted lectures and debates at colleges.
