The Azerbaijani government is restoring the territories liberated from occupation at the proper level, Kazakh journalist Anuarbek Bimagambet, who visited Aghdam today as part of a group of foreign journalists that arrived in Azerbaijan to cover the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement Contact Group told Report.
According to him, this is his first trip to Karabakh.
"A day ago we were in Baku, where modern architecture is mixed with historical monuments. On the way to Karabakh, despite all the security measures, a person is still scared. What we saw here is history. The history created by human hands," he said.
Bimagambet stressed that it is possible to restore houses and architecture, but it is impossible to restore the former nature and lost historical monuments.
"I saw that 3 years after the liberation of these territories, work is actively underway to restore the infrastructure here - this is an indicator of the government's efforts," he concluded.
