Where did most of Azerbaijan's tourists come from?

In December 2021, 711 people from the Americas visited Azerbaijan, a 56.4% decrease compared to the same period in 2019, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani State Tourism Agency.
According to the agency, there was a decrease in the number of visitors from all regions last year.
The number of visitors from Eastern Europe decreased by 63.6% to 2,562, from Western Europe declined by 47.7% to 2,595, and from Africa dropped by 48.6% to 493.
The number of tourists visiting Azerbaijan from Southeast Asia fell by 56.9% to 600, from Northeast Asia descended by 52.8% to 775, and from South Asia went down by 78% to 2,542.
Some 144 tourists did not visit from these regions. However, rheir share decreased by 76.7% year on year.
