The 1st meeting of tourism educational institutions of the member states of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC), held in Baku on April 22, jointly organized by the State Tourism Agency and the BSEC, concluded with the adoption of the Baku Declaration, Report informs.
According to the information, the document reflects the intention of expanding cooperation in various directions of tourism education, research and information exchange, promotion of cultural heritage, tourism innovations, and the regular holding of this meeting, which was organized for the first time.
At the round table held within the framework of the meeting, the issues of expanding partnership opportunities for tourism education among the member countries of the organization, training programs, and creating a single network of tourism education institutions were discussed.
Official state representatives and representatives of tourism educational institutions from 11 member countries of the organization, including Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Russia, Albania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, and Ukraine, as well as representatives of the UN World Tourism Organization, took part in the event.
