China announces increase in visa-free travel for citizens of six countries

The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced an experimental increase in the period of visa-free travel for citizens of six countries: Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia, Report informs via Reuters.

The simplified pilot regime will be in effect from December 1, 2023 to November 30, 2024.

China lost 98% of tourists due to COVID restrictions and Beijing's policies.
