Azerbaijan and Lithuania intend to strengthen cooperation in the pension provision, Deputy Minister of Social Security and Labor of Lithuania Martynas Siurkus said at the opening of the EU twinning project "Support to Pension Reforms in Azerbaijan - Phase 2," Report informs.
According to him, the development of the pension system in the country speaks of the contribution that Azerbaijan makes to the development of social security.
The deputy minister emphasized that this twinning project will contribute to ensuring financial stability.
"The project will ensure the development of bilateral cooperation between our countries. We strive to further strengthen our cooperation in this area," he said.
