100 children adopted in Azerbaijan in 2023

A total of 100 children have been adopted in Azerbaijan this year, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population told Report.

Of them 51 are boys and 49 are girls.

Some 66 of the children were adopted by close relatives.

Reintegration measures are also ongoing. As a result of those measures, 126 children from state children's institutions were returned to their families this year. Of those children, 67 are boys and 59 are girls.
