Turkish, Russian FMs discuss Alaska meeting

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, a source in the Turkish Foreign Ministry said, Report informs via Haber Global TV.
The ministers discussed the work being done to end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the results of the Alaska meeting between US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Hakan Fidan expressed hope that Ukraine's joining the process that began in Alaska would contribute to establishing lasting peace, and stated that Türkiye is also ready to contribute to this process.
