Tajik president invites investors to develop fields in country

There are more than 600 deposits of valuable resources in the territory of Tajikistan that are of interest to investors. The government of the country is ready to consider and support their proposals to establish mutually beneficial cooperation, the country’s President Emomali Rahmon said at the Dushanbe Investment Forum 2023, which will end on September 30, Report informs referring to Tajik media.

Informing about the potential of free economic zones, he spoke about the country’s opportunities for developing businesses focused on the use of “green” technologies: the production or assembly of electric vehicles based on Tajik events.

The forum was organized on the initiative of the Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic and the Dushanbe administration. During the forum, a number of agreements in various fields are expected to be signed.
