Putin arrives in Belarus

Russian President Vladimir Putin has embarked on a visit to Minsk to take part in a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, the Russian press said, Report informs.
At the meeting chaired by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, special attention will be paid to strengthening the common defense space of Russia and Belarus.
The leaders of the countries also plan to consider the general progress of union construction and prospects for integration cooperation.
The meeting is timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the treaty establishing the Union State.
