Peskov: Kremlin does not agree with Pashinyan’s justification for ratifying Rome Statute

The Kremlin absolutely disagrees with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s justification for adopting the Rome Statute, said Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson of the Russian president, Report informs.
Pashinyan had earlier said that ratifying the Rome Statute was necessary for the country’s security.
It is necessary to look for a solution to how the Rome Statute can not prevail over bilateral documents, Peskov noted.
The Armenian parliament ratified the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) on October 3.
