The number of people detained on suspicion of involvement in the terrorist attack in Istanbul has risen to 50, local police said.
Report informs via Turkish media that earlier, 46 other suspects were detained, in addition to the Syrian-born terrorist Ahlam Albashir.
An explosion rocked the pedestrian Istiklal avenue in one of the central districts of Istanbul on November 13. The Turkish Ministry of Justice said that it was a terrorist attack, masterminded by Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). The explosion killed six and injured more than 80. The PKK denied involvement in the attack.
