The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine has already supported the introduction of the state of emergency. The corresponding decree has already been signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky. Now, the Verkhovna Rada is to decide , Report informs via UNIAN.
NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said that this issue was discussed at a meeting.
Danilov noted that restrictions due to the state of emergency may differ depending on a region. In particular, in the regions, "depending on how expedient it is to carry out certain events that are prescribed in accordance with our legislation on the legal regime of the state of emergency, the regional commissions, which will include representatives of all state and local authorities, will make the relevant decisions."
Meanwhile, the ex-prime minister, leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, announced that the Verkhovna Rada would meet approximately at 17:00 to consider the introduction of the state of emergency.
