Georgian PM appoints new minister of culture and sports

Tika Rukhadze has been appointed the new Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia, Report informs.

Georgia's Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze introduced the new minister during a briefing held at the government administration.

Previously Rukhadze has served as the director of the National Palace.

The ministerial position had been vacant since Tea Tsulukiani's departure from the post on September 25.
