Erdogan: Türkiye to stand with Syrians against any threat to their freedom

Anyone who takes steps against the freedom of the Syrian people will see Türkiye standing firmly with them, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, Report informs.

Erdogan made this statement during his speech at the Türkiye’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Provincial Heads' Meeting

The president mentioned that the path to a prosperous future has opened for Syria.

"Türkiye will always support Syria politically, diplomatically, militarily, and in all other areas," he stated.

The Turkish leader emphasized that they will not allow Syria to become a battlefield again.

"We want to inform everyone with designs on Syrian lands that Türkiye has played a significant role in bringing Syria to its current state. At a time when everyone else turned their backs on Syria, we did the opposite," Erdogan added.
