Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will pay an official visit to Türkiye on September 4 at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.
The first meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council will be held in Ankara. It is expected that about 20 agreements in the fields of defense, energy, tourism, health, education and culture will be signed at the meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Türkiye and Egypt.
Agreements in various fields will be signed during the visit of the Egyptian president. Thanks to these agreements, the volume of trade between the two countries is planned to increase to $15 billion. It is planned to develop cooperation in the energy sector, which opens up various opportunities for the two countries, especially in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG), nuclear and renewable energy.
The leaders of the two countries will discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip, as well as the state of trade relations between the two countries and the steps to be taken in this regard.
