Negotiations between the United States and Iran on a peaceful settlement will continue on Wednesday, despite recent statements by the US president about a possible increase in pressure on Tehran, a senior White House official said in an interview with Fox News Digital, according to Report.
"The talks are continuing," the official said.
According to him, the United States has already responded to an attack on an Apache helicopter and will continue to apply maximum pressure to reach a deal.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said he could order new strikes on Iranian power plants and bridges.
A US AH-64 Apache attack helicopter crashed near the Strait of Hormuz on June 9.
