UK expands sanctions against Russia with new additions

The UK Foreign Office has announced an expansion of sanctions against Russia, Report informs, citing updates from the British government.

“Eight new entries have been added under the Russia sanctions regime,” the statement reads.

The latest measures target five organizations and three individuals.

In July, the UK also sanctioned 135 vessels linked to Russia’s "shadow fleet."
