Trump says he is serious on re-election opportunity

US President Donald Trump told NBC News that he was "not joking" when speaking about his potential re-election for the third term, Report informs via TASS.

According to the 22nd Amendment adopted in 1951, one and the same person cannot be re-elected more than two times as the US President. "I’m not joking," Trump said, cited by the TV channel. "But I’m not — it is far too early to think about it," he added.

"A lot of people want me to do it," the US President said. "But, I mean, I basically tell them we have a long way to go, you know, it’s very early in the administration," he noted, cited by NBC News.
