Russia expands blacklist of EU representatives in response to new sanctions

In response to the 15th package of EU sanctions, Russia significantly expanded the list of citizens of EU countries who are banned from entering the Russian Federation, including representatives of law enforcement agencies and organizations responsible for military assistance to Kyiv, according to the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Report informs via Pravda.

"In response to these unfriendly actions, the Russian side has significantly expanded the list of representatives of European institutions and EU member states who, in accordance with the Federal Law No. 114-FZ of August 15, 1996, on the Procedure for Leaving the Russian Federation and Entering the Russian Federation, are prohibited from entering the territory of our state," the ministry said.

"We are talking about representatives of law enforcement agencies, government and commercial organizations of EU countries, citizens of EU member states responsible for providing military assistance to Kyiv," the statement says.

Russia will continue to respond promptly and adequately to any unfriendly actions of the European Union, the statement said.

"Any unfriendly actions by the European Union will continue to receive a timely and adequate response," the ministry said.
