Ruling PAS party wins Moldovan parliamentary elections

The Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) has won Moldova's parliamentary elections with 50.2% of the vote, Report informs, citing official results from the country's Central Election Commission after 100% of protocols were counted.
PAS was founded by Moldova's current president, Maia Sandu, and its victory reaffirms public support for her pro-European agenda.
The Patriotic Bloc came in second with 24.17% of the vote. In total, opposition parties collectively secured 49.8%.
Voter turnout for the September 28 election surpassed 52%, reflecting steady public engagement in the country's political direction.
