Kremlin: Moscow notes Iranian public unity amid Israel's actions

Russia is urging the elimination of the root causes behind the Middle East crisis and stands ready to assist in resolving the conflict between Israel and Iran, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.

Report informs via Russian media that, according to Peskov, the Kremlin has observed a notable consolidation of Iranian society in response to Israeli airstrikes. "We condemn the actions that have led to this dangerous escalation in the region," he stated.

He also noted that Russia's proposal to store Iranian uranium on its territory remains on the table, although the situation in the Middle East has "seriously deteriorated."

Peskov reiterated that Russia remains ready to act as a mediator if necessary and that proposals previously made by President Vladimir Putin during talks with US President Donald Trump remain on the table.
