IDF reports that 200,000 people have already left Gaza City

Approximately 200,000 people have left Gaza City in recent weeks, IDF said in a statement.
Report informs via The Times of Israel that, according to the estimates, before the IDF began preparations for a large-scale offensive against Hamas, Gaza City was home to about one million Palestinians.
On Tuesday, the IDF ordered the immediate evacuation of the entire city ahead of the planned offensive.
Civilians were instructed to move to a designated humanitarian zone in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
