EU agency approves Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine

EMA has recommended granting conditional marketing authorization for COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna to prevent coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in people from 18 years of age, Report states, citing TASS.
It is the second COVID-19 vaccine that EMA has recommended for authorization.
On December 18, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved an application by the American company Moderna to register its vaccine against the new coronavirus under an accelerated emergency procedure.
