US President-elect Donald Trump has received enough electoral votes to officially win the US presidency, Report informs via CNN.
The decisive moment was when Texas electors awarded him with 40 electoral votes during their meeting on Tuesday.
Despite being declared winner of the November 5 elections, Trump was yet to formalize his status as part of the constitutional process to officially elect a President known as the Electoral College.
Currently, Trump has 304 electoral votes with the required minimum of 270. His rival Kamala Harris has 167 votes.
