Death toll in Colombia mine explosion rises to 21

More than 20 miners have died in a series of mine explosions in the Colombian municipality of Sutatausa, located in the country's center, President of Colombia Gustavo Petro said, Report informs via TASS.
"I have been in touch with Governor Nicolás García Bustos, who has just informed me that, despite the best efforts of the rescuers, unfortunately, 21 people died in this tragic incident in Sutatausa," the president tweeted.
An explosion occurred Tuesday evening at one of the coal mines in Sutatausa. It was followed by a series of explosions at nearby facilities. El Tiempo reported earlier that more than 30 people were in the tunnels during the incident.
