Xi Jinping stated that tariffs and trade wars undermine the legitimate rights and interests of all countries, causing harm to the multilateral trading system, according to Report.
This is a blow to the global economic order, the Chinese President said during talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Beijing.
Speaking at the White House yesterday, US President Donald Trump told journalists that the tariffs he imposed at 145% on imports from China were too high and promised to reduce them while working towards a trade agreement with China.
