Residents of Alat FEZ to be able to invite foreigners to Azerbaijan

Residents of the Alat Free Economic Zone with a temporary residence permit will be able to invite foreigners to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

In this regard, it is proposed to amend the Migration Code in Azerbaijan.

According to the amendment, a visa for a personal visit to Azerbaijan will be issued to foreigners and stateless persons on the basis of a notarized invitation letter from a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a foreigner or stateless person permanently residing in Azerbaijan, a labor migrant with a temporary residence permit, a foreigner and a stateless person, studying in Azerbaijan (only for family members of a labor migrant or student), founder or employee of legal entities of the Alat Economic Zone or foreigners and stateless persons who have a temporary residence permit in this zone.
