3rd Shusha Global Media Forum participants view Karabakh's infrastructure projects

As part of the cultural and information program of the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, the participants visited the railway and bus station complex in the city of Aghdam.

Report informs that the visitors were provided with information about the Barda-Aghdam railway line project, as well as plans for the construction of the Barda-Aghdam-Khankendi railway section.

The foundation of this transport hub, which is one of the key strategic infrastructure facilities in the region, was laid on October 4, 2022, with the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva. The complex plays an important role in the restoration and development of Aghdam as a modern city.

The railway station, designed to serve 800 to 1,000 passengers daily, was officially opened on May 10, 2025.

The 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum "Digital Pathways: Strengthening Information and Media Resilience in the Age of AI" opened on July 19. The forum will conclude on July 21.
