ANAMA: ‘64,000 hectares of liberated territories have been cleared of mines’

To date, 64,000 hectares of the liberated territory of Azerbaijan have been cleared of mines, the Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), Vugar Suleymanov, said at a conference on demining in Shusha jointly organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Azerbaijan Republic Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), Report informs.
According to him, 282 Azerbaijanis were victims of mines planted by Armenia, 46 of whom died.
