Global DTC Pte Ltd launches digital platform for Middle Corridor

The official launch of the digital platform for the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), developed by Global DTC Pte Ltd, took place in Baku, the company's Deputy General Director Alua Satybaldiyeva said at the round table "Middle Corridor: Connection via the Caspian Sea," Report informs.

"We created a digital platform for the trade corridor in order to simplify cargo transportation between Asia and Europe. The main functions of our platform are to form a collaborative ecosystem for all participants in the route, support electronic customs clearance. It also includes a tariff and order management module, digitalization of document flow, a real-time container tracking and monitoring system," she said.

According to her, now forwarders, shippers and consignees will be able to track the location of their containers by simply entering their number into the system: "This will ensure transparency of transportation along the entire route passing through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia."

Satybaldiyeva added that the company has already integrated the platform with the railway systems of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

"The immediate plans include completing the integration with the port of Aktau, which will allow tracking the status of containers and possible causes of delays, such as weather conditions. The next stage will be the connection of the port of Alyat in Azerbaijan, as well as integration with the national port system of Georgia, which will unite all terminals in the country," she said.
