The city of Fuzuli in Azerbaijan is one step closer to having a reliable supply of clean drinking water as the construction of three out of four planned water reservoirs nears completion.

The State Agency of Water Resources of Azerbaijan (ADSEA) told Report that two reservoirs with a capacity of 8,500 cubic meters each and one with a capacity of 2,500 cubic meters are in their final stages of construction.

Currently, the construction and installation work on these reservoirs has been completed, and the focus has shifted to landscaping and beautification of the surrounding areas.

In addition to the reservoirs, the water supply infrastructure in Fuzuli includes a 10,330-meter long main water pipeline, a wastewater treatment facility, and a 1,816-meter long sewage collector. Moreover, the drilling of 15 sub-artesian wells has already been completed.
