Azerbaijani Customs Committee sets up customs post in Gubadli

The State Customs Committee (SCC) has set up a Gubadli customs post in Gubadli District under the Committee's Southern Territorial Main Customs Office, the head of the Main Department for Operations and Investigation under the State Customs Committee, Major General Masum Rasulov, told Report.

According to him, in order to combat violations of customs regulations in the liberated lands, to prevent the illegal crossing of drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, other goods prohibited for civilian circulation, in general, to apply customs control, the Gubadli customs post of the Main Customs Office has been set up in Gubadli District.

He said that in accordance with the activities of the Main Department for Operations and Investigation in the area, employees of the structural units of the Main Department are regularly seconded to the newly-established customs post to ensure the implementation of relevant duties.
