Azerbaijani ambassador to Iran announces resumption of Baku-Tehran-Baku flight

CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will start operating direct flights on the Baku-Tehran-Baku route from September 6, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iran Ali Alizada wrote on X, Report informs.
The diplomat reminded that after a break lasting several years, in accordance with the instructions of the president of Azerbaijan, the first direct AZAL flight on the Baku-Tabriz-Baku route was carried out in the evening hours on September 4.
"This flight will initially be carried out twice a week, and from Saturday the AZAL Baku-Tehran-Baku flight will be resumed," Alizada noted.
