Azerbaijan, Afghanistan mull collaboration on Lapis Lazuli route

Azerbaijan and Afghanistan have discussed cooperation within the framework of the Lapis Lazuli route, Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, said in a post on X, according to Report.
“We met with Hamidullah Akhundzada, the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation of Afghanistan. We discussed the possibilities of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the field of transport within the framework of the ‘Lapis Lazuli’ route. We talked about the prospects of carrying out car transportation from Afghanistan through this route,” he said.
