Azerbaijan’s passenger car output rises by close to 67%

In January-November of 2024, Azerbaijan manufactured 5,225 passenger cars, marking an increase of 2,088 units or 66.6% year-on-year, Report informs, referring to the country’s State Statistical Committee.
As of December 1, 2024, the country had 207 ready-made products in stock.
In total, the country manufactured machinery and equipment worth 725.8 million manats (over $426.9 million), other vehicles, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers in the first eleven months of this year.
Compared to the corresponding period in 2023, the manufacturing of cars, trailers, and semi-trailers grew by 56.6%, while the manufacturing of machinery and equipment fell by 46.1%, and other vehicles output dropped by 52.9 percent.
At the same time, the country produced 576 trucks during this period, which is 0.5% less than the indicator for 2023. As a result, the country had a stock of 23 ready-made products as of December 1.
During the first 11 months of 2024, Azerbaijan produced 535 tractors, a decline of 13.6% compared to January-November of 2023. As a result, the country had a stock of 11 ready-made products as of December 1, 2024.
