Azerbaijan posts 84% growth in beverage production

Azerbaijan produced 7,561,800 decaliters of beverage in January-February 2023, up 84% from a year earlier, Report informs, with reference to the State Statistical Committee (SSC).
In the reporting period, 886,200 decaliters of alcoholic drinks were produced in the country (+20.9%). Vodka production increased by 18.8% to 207,600 decaliters, whiskey-cognac tripled to 9,300 decaliters, grape wine soared 52.3% to 157,600 decaliters, and beer surged 18.9% to 511,700 decaliters.
Soft drinks production rose 14.6% to 4,208,300 decaliters.
As of March 1, the finished products on alcoholic drinks were 1,433,300 decaliters, and on soft drinks – 1,174,000 decaliters.
