Azerbaijan more than doubles truck production 

Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, and other vehicles worth 92 million manats ($54.12 million) in January-February 2023, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The State Statistical Committee told Report that machinery and equipment production was boosted by 10.4%, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers increased by 2.1 times, and other transport facilities dropped by 23%.

In the first two months of this year, 456 private vehicles were produced in Azerbaijan, 179 cars or 64.6% more than the same period last year. As of March 1, 2023, the country had stocked 465 finished products.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan produced 164 tractors, 2.8-fold more than in the same period of 2022. As a result, the country had 16 finished products as of March 1.

At the same time, truck production went up 2.2 times to 112 (finished products - 9).
