Anglo-Asian Mining drops gold production in 2021

Anglo Asian Mining plc, the AIM-listed gold, copper and silver producer primarily operating in Azerbaijan, produced 15,949 gold equivalent ounces (GEOs) in the fourth quarter of 2021, down 3.88% from the same period of 2020, Report informs, citing the Company.
The Company produced 16,593 GEOs in the fourth quarter of 2020.
The Company produced 11,589 ounces of gold, 743 tons of copper and 38,673 ounces of silver in the last quarter of 2021.
Compared to a year earlier, the gold production dropped 14.37%, copper and silver productions increased by 6.75% and 17.26%, respectively.
The Company produced 64,610 GEOs for the year ended 31 December 2021, showing a 3.92% decline compared to a year ago. This figure was 67,249 GEOs in 2020.
In 2021, the Company produced 48,680 ounces of gold, 2,649 tons of copper and 154,564 ounces of silver. These figures were 56,864 ounces, 2,591 tons and 122,962 ounces in 2020, respectively.
