Turkish scientist: Devices that can think and make decisions like humans can be created

Devices that think and make decisions like humans could be created within the next six months, Sebnem Ozdemir, Associate Professor at Istanbul University of Türkiye, said during a training session titled "Media technologies: innovations and trends" held in Baku.

"As a result of technological developments in the last two weeks, we don't need quantum computers to create human-level artificial intelligence. Unless US President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk sign off on a different scenario, humanity will be introduced to devices that think and make decisions like humans within six months," Ozdemir noted.
