Number of female entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan’s ICT sector up by nearly 10%

As of July 1 of 2024, the number of individual entrepreneurs operating in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector in Azerbaijan was 14,193, an increase of 766 people or 5.7% year-on-year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, the number of male entrepreneurs increased by 4.7% to 11,182 people, while the number of female entrepreneurs went up by 9.7% to 3,11 people.
