Market share of Safari browser on tablets in Azerbaijan down by 75%

In February 2025, the market share of the Chrome browser on all platforms (computers, mobile devices, tablets) in Azerbaijan was 78.79%, Report informs, citing the Statcounter agency.
This is 0.46 percentage points more than in January and 7.28 percentage points more than in February 2024.
The market share of Safari in second place decreased by 0.26 percentage points monthly and increased by 1.38 percentage points annually to 10.7%.
The market share of Samsung Internet, which ranked next, decreased by 0.12% during the month and decreased by 0.33 percentage points annually to 3.82%.
The market share of Opera in fourth place increased by 0.07 percentage points monthly and decreased by 2.18 percentage points annually to 2.42%.
Rounding out the top five, Yandex Browser's market share increased by 0.19 percentage points monthly and decreased by 1.11 percentage points annually to 1.75%.

Chrome – 81.17% (up 0.19 percentage points month-on-month and 19.34 percentage points year-on-year)
Edge – 6.48% (up 0.37 percentage points month-on-month and 1.87 percentage points year-on-year)
Opera – 4.8% (down 0.26 percentage points month-on-month and 4.33 percentage points year-on-year)
Safari – 2.64% (down 0.16 percentage points month-on-month and 0.42 percentage points year-on-year)
Firefox – 2.24% (down 0.05 percentage points month-on-month and 6.16 percentage points year-on-year)
On mobile phones:
Chrome – 77.74% (up 0.58 percentage points month-on-month and up 1.69 percentage points year-on-year)
Safari – 13.7% (down 0.15 percentage points month-on-month and up 1.62 percentage points year-on-year)
Samsung Internet – 5.29% (down 0.10 percentage points month-on-month and down 0.84 percentage points year-on-year)
Opera – 1.59% (up 0.11 percentage points month-on-month and down 0.94 percentage points year-on-year)
Yandex Browser – 1.17% (down 0.43 percentage points month-on-month and up 0.45 percentage points year-on-year)
On tablets:
Chrome – 88.25% (down 0.92 percentage points month-on-month and up 17.87 percentage points year-on-year)
Safari – 5.62% (down 0.82 percentage points month-on-month and up 17.08 percentage points year-on-year). Thus, Safari’s market share decreased by 75%.
Android – 4.27% (up 0.68 percentage points month-on-month and down 0.82 percentage points year-on-year)
Opera – 1.51% (up 1.13 percentage points month-on-month and up 0.21 percentage points year-on-year)
