ChatGPT achieves 100% market share on tablets in Azerbaijan

In July 2025, the market share of ChatGPT—a widely used artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot—across all platforms in Azerbaijan (computers, mobile devices, and tablets) reached 96.1%, according to Statcounter, Report informs.

This marks a slight decrease of 0.11 percentage points (pp) compared to June.

Microsoft Copilot secured second place with a market share of 1.7%, down 0.69 percentage points from the previous month.

Google Gemini followed, recording 1.07% after increasing its share by 0.30 percentage points in July.

Perplexity took fourth place with 0.68%, up 0.19 percentage points, and Claude completed the top five at 0.45%, having tripled its previous month’s share with a gain of 0.31 percentage points.

Platform-specific AI chatbot rankings for July 2025 are as follows:

Computers:

- ChatGPT: 95.56% (-0.75 pp);

- Microsoft Copilot: 1.96% (-0.45 pp);

- Google Gemini: 1.24% (+0.44 pp);

- Perplexity: 0.78% (+0.46 pp);

- Claude: 0.46% (+0.30 pp).

Mobile Devices:

- ChatGPT: 99.57% (+3.59 pp);

- Claude: 0.43% (newly included in rankings).

Tablets:

- ChatGPT: 100% (+50 pp).
