Monkeypox can be fatal in some cases, Nazrin Mustafayeva, Head of the TABIB Infection Control Department, said.
This can happen when secondary bacteria join the rash on the surface of the skin, she said, as quoted by Report.
"But the chance of death is pretty low," she added.
