F1: No sprint race planned for Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2026

Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2026 will not feature a sprint race.
According to Report, this is reflected in the official calendar released by the International Automobile Federation (FIA).
Sprint races will instead be held in China, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Singapore.
Canada, the Netherlands, and Singapore will host sprint races for the first time.
Azerbaijan held its first sprint race in 2023, where Red Bull's Sergio Pérez claimed victory. The format was excluded from the Baku race calendar in both 2024 and 2025.
