Ankara-based Turkish-Azerbaijani Friendship, Cooperation, and Solidarity Foundation (TADIV) and a group of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) held a press conference showing solidarity with the Azerbaijani protestors on the Shusha-Khankandi road.
Report's Ankara bureau says that the head of the Foundation, Aygun Attar, noted that the team included in the support campaign, which started today, will visit Azerbaijan soon and stand by the protestors.
Aygun Attar noted that NGOs from Turkiye are ready to support their colleagues from Azerbaijan in every way against the illegal exploitation of Azerbaijani lands in Karabakh by Armenia and its supporters.
"The statement adopted at the event will be sent to all international organizations, including the UN representative office in Ankara," the head of the Foundation added.
The statement says that the natural resources of Karabakh are looted by businessmen and companies engaged in international criminal activities: "The prevention of the efforts of experts from the Ministry of Ecology of Azerbaijan and the state-owned company "Azergold" to control the mines belonging to Azerbaijan and determine the damage caused to the ecology of Azerbaijan is illegal."
The statement invited ecologists and relevant international organizations to be active in order to stop the destruction of Azerbaijan's ecology by Armenia.
