The agreement to be signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia will serve as a starting point for a peace treaty, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told journalists, according to Report.
According to him, the US President is committed to peace and determined to be a president of peace.
Rubio noted that Trump managed to restore peace between India and Pakistan and a similar event had recently occurred in Cambodia and Thailand. He expressed hope that the same would be achieved regarding Azerbaijan and Armenia, adding that an agreement that would mark the beginning of a peace treaty is expected to be signed on Friday.
