Polish President and Prime Minister plan to attend COP29

Polish President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Donald Tusk plan to attend the upcoming 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Azerbaijan, the Ambassador of Poland to Azerbaijan, Rafał Poborski talked about this at the event held on the occasion of the 233rd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution in his country, Report informs.

"The President and Prime Minister of Poland have received an invitation to participate in an important international conference - COP29, which will be held in Baku, and they are preparing for this trip," the ambassador stated.

According to him, a large delegation from Poland will come to Azerbaijan to participate in the InterFood Azerbaijan 2024 exhibition in two weeks.

Poborski highlighted the growing inclination of Polish entrepreneurs to engage in commercial activities within Azerbaijan: "Last week alone, our embassy organized an online seminar for more than 30 agro-food companies interested in business activity in the Azerbaijani market."
