Hikmat Hajiyev, head of US House of Reps committee emphasize strategic importance of Washington summit

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev has met with Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of the US Congress Brian Mast and Senator Steve Daines, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Washington.

The strategic importance of the Washington summit on August 8 between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and US leader Donald Trump, its positive results for Azerbaijani-American relations and regional peace were emphasized at the meetings.

The assistant to the president of Azerbaijan stressed the importance of repealing Section 907 and invited parliamentarians to visit Azerbaijan.
